Xaverine M A Bates

Xaverine M A Bates is a multi-disciplinary artist exploring themes of gender, mental health and eco-feminism. She completed her BA Fine Art at Brighton University in 2008 and has been practising since then in East Sussex.

Among other projects, she conceived & coordinated The Mother Lode Project in 2019, which aimed to extract the gold from challenging experiences of motherhood, in partnership with Recovery Partners at the De La Warr Pavilion.
